Akylas: «The song is now embraced by all of Europe»

Singer Akylas, who will represent Greece at Eurovision 2026, returned from Serbia and spoke on the Breakfast@Star show.

Akylas revealed that his next stop is the national final of San Marino. «I'm going to San Marino now, I can't wait, I've never been. I had a great time in Serbia. The fact that this song is now embraced by all of Europe is very nice. The Serbs welcomed us very well,» he said.

«All of this that is happening to me is unbelievable, I still don't believe it. I pinch myself to understand it. I didn't expect the whole world to be singing my song. That makes me very happy. We work every day and we are preparing our album,» Akylas added.

Regarding preparations for May, Akylas stated: «For May, we want to prepare something good but I won't reveal it because that would spoil the magic. The odds are constantly going up and down, so everything may have changed by the semi-finals.»
