Akylas: International Recognition and Promo Tour for Eurovision 2026

Akylas is embarking on a promo tour for his song “Ferto,” which he will present at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. He will perform at the Serbian national final, PZE 2026, on February 28, 2026.

In a video, Akylas stated: “Hello Serbia. I am Akylas from Greece, and I am very happy to announce some great news. I will see you on Saturday, February 28, at the PZE 2026 national final. Let's sing my Eurovision song 'Ferto' together. I can't wait.” Universal Serbia shared the video.

Universal Croatia presents him as one of the favorites for the Contest, which will take place in Vienna, Austria. “One of the two main favorites to win in Vienna will perform his song 'Ferto' in the final of the competition on Saturday at 9:00 p.m., live on RTS television,” the announcement notes.

“Ferto” has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify and is on the Top 50 Spotify Greece, Top 20 Shazam Greece, and Top 5 Apple Music Greece charts. It is released by Minos EMI, A Universal Music Company, with lyrics by Akylas and Orfeas Nonis and music by Papatanice, Akylas, TEO.x3.

The song addresses greed and the need for more, and it is dedicated to parents and children who struggle to reciprocate. It is a story about greed, consumerism, gratitude, and the value of what we already have.
