Al Pacino's Modigliani Dream Realized After 30 Years

Al Pacino is realizing a 30-year dream with the film «Modigliani - Three Days on the Wing of Madness», directed by Johnny Depp. The film, expected in theaters on July 11, is set in 1916 Paris and focuses on 72 hours in the life of Amedeo Modigliani.

Pacino, who plays a collector in the film, stated that the story resonates because it deals with rejection. The work is based on the play by Dennis McIntyre, starring Riccardo Scamarcio, Antonia Desplat, and Stephen Graham.

Pacino had discussed the project with Martin Scorsese and revealed that he suggested Johnny Depp for the direction.
