Andreas Georgiou: "Marriage made me feel like I was drowning"

Andreas Georgiou spoke about his marriage proposal to Simoni Christodoulou and the unexpected events that occurred in New York.

The actor and director described to OK! magazine their trip to New York, where he proposed to his 28-year-old wife.

He mentioned that he had planned for the proposal to take place at the boat lake in Central Park, but due to the marathon and other unexpected events, he ended up proposing to her on a rock.

Andreas Georgiou stated: "As an idea, marriage made me feel like I was drowning, like I was losing my freedom. We are free within our relationship."
