Velli stated that she was fired because she reacted to a situation she considered exploitative. Specifically, she recalled a group meeting where the channel blamed the rest of the team for the show's poor performance, instead of the main presenter. At the age of 25, she was the only one who expressed her opposition, resulting in her dismissal.
