Antigoni Kouloukakou: The role in 'The Bleeding Tree' and maternal love

Actress Antigoni Kouloukakou spoke to Marie Claire about her role in 'The Bleeding Tree,' where she plays a mother who, along with her daughters, kills her abusive husband. Kouloukakou referred to the difficulties of the role, emphasizing her inability to understand how a mother would allow the abuse of her children.

The actress, who studied Law in Italy and worked as a model, expressed her need to take on roles with depth and gravity. She characteristically stated: 'As a mother, I feel I can even fall into the fire for my child.'
