Apostolia Zoi: My 'Nomads' experience was a mistake

Apostolia Zoi, in an interview on the podcast 'Home Studio,' spoke about her experience on the ANT1 reality show 'Nomads,' which she won a few years ago. She described her participation as a mistake and stated that she would not repeat it.

The singer explained that her participation in the game was a choice made during a difficult personal and professional phase. 'I was active artistically at the time, we had a discussion with the director of the record company I was with, and my participation was a combination of two things. Both the discussions we had about various issues regarding programming, and because I was in a state where I wasn't very well psychologically. I had already experienced the loss of my mother, and my father was ill with cancer. I wasn't well because I had been very stressed during that time,' she said.

The decision was made after a discussion with her family and the need to get away from her daily routine for a while. Apostolia Zoi did not hide her disappointment with the way such reality shows work. 'I thought that the one who wins is from the games, and with my innocent mind, after so many years in this space, I thought that... no one should go! No one should go! What happens behind the scenes, not at all. Not at all. It's a doctorate, it didn't suit me at all,' she said.

In closing, the singer admitted that, on a personal level, the experience of 'Nomads' affected her more negatively than positively.
