Despina Vandi: 'It's Not All a Movie'

Despina Vandi shared her message about life during a concert in Argos, urging her fans to take care of and love themselves.

The singer referred to the image portrayed about the lives of artists, emphasizing that reality is far from a movie. As she said, the public only sees what artists choose to share.

Before performing the song 'Eho Emena' (I Have Myself), Despina Vandi stated that she identifies with the lyrics, which were written by Giorgos Sabanis and Giannis Doxas. 'We must love ourselves and take care of ourselves, because no one else will do it for us. There is no egoism in this at all. If we are well, we are also better people,' she said.

'Because difficulties arise, kids. It's not all a rosy movie, even if you see what we sometimes allow you to see. When Giorgos Sabanis brought me this song – the moment he brought it to me – I felt that this is my life,' added Despina Vandi.
