Dimitris Basis: 'I proposed the duet to Christos Mastoras myself'

Dimitris Basis revealed that he proposed to Christos Mastoras that they collaborate on the duet 'Ena Lepto'. In an interview on the vidcast #EsyTiMousikiAkous with Theologos Iliou, Basis mentioned that he was originally intended to perform the song alone.

'The song came to me to sing it myself. Then they told me it would be nice to sing it as a duet and they suggested a singer from our own field, let's say. I said 'no guys, I'll sing it with Christos Mastoras',' said Dimitris Basis.

Additionally, Basis expressed his desire to return to Kilkis, saying: 'I have been in Athens for 33 years and it has not won me over. I feel like a foreigner and I have taken root because I can't do otherwise. I really want to uproot myself and return. I have in mind to return to Kilkis and have it as my base.'
