Specifically, he referred to a publication that described him as "fat," emphasizing the absence of public defense towards him. He also recalled the comments he received when photos of him with Maria Antona from the beach in Vouliagmeni were released, where he expressed his annoyance at the offensive comments on social media.

Giorgos Liagas had characteristically stated: "There was a newspaper headline that read 'Giorgos Liagas is fat'. I didn't take legal action. Was there anyone to say shame on them for Liagas? No, because they hate Liagas."
