Elli Kokkinou: Memories of childhood and Saudi Arabia

Elli Kokkinou, in an interview on *Rainbow Mermaids*, spoke about her childhood and the impact of her parents' divorce.

The singer described her early years in Anavyssos, Filothei, Papagos, and Saudi Arabia. "We lived in the desert, near my father's construction site, and there were holes in the sand with scorpions," she said about her life in Saudi Arabia.

She also spoke about the moment she learned about her parents' divorce: "I remember the crisis I had when they announced they were getting divorced... Nevertheless, the process was so calm, mainly thanks to my mother."

She also referred to her first steps in music, recalling the feelings of anxiety she had. "When I started, I was very anxious, my legs were shaking."
