1990s TV Shows Making a Comeback

Major studios are bringing back TV shows that defined a generation in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Nostalgia remains a key driver of modern home entertainment.
Notable examples include *Malcolm in the Middle*, which is expected to return to Disney+ with a new season starring Bryan Cranston, Frankie Muniz, and Jane Kaczmarek. Also, *Buffy, the Vampire Slayer* is set to get a sequel on Hulu in 2026.
Added to these is the new version of *Prison Break*, also from Hulu, starring Emily Browning, and Desperate Housewives, produced by Kerry Washington. Greg Daniels' effort to bring back *King of the Hill* on Hulu has been successful.
Behind this new wave of revivals are millennials, who are developing a strong nostalgia for shows that have been etched into their collective unconscious.
In Greece, the most anticipated reunion is that of the series *Sto para pente* on Mega.
