Eurovision 2026: Austria Announces Key Changes

The Austrian broadcaster (ORF), host of the next Eurovision Song Contest, has announced it will not ban the Palestinian flag or cover up any booing during Israel's performance.

The 70th Eurovision contest, to be held in May, will feature 35 entries, the smallest number since 2003. Five national broadcasters, including those of Spain, Ireland, and the Netherlands, will boycott the event, protesting Israel's participation.
