Actress Evelina Papoulia spoke about the period when she faced depression while starring in the successful series "Dyo Xenoi" (Two Strangers). In an interview on the show "Kalimera eipame?", Papoulia explained that the success of the series caused her intense anxiety.

"I didn't handle the success easily, I was depressed then, I had a very difficult time during that period. While I had something so beautiful to enjoy, for some reason it was associated in my mind with something very bad, it was very stressful. It deprived me of my freedom a lot," the actress stated.

Evelina Papoulia also referred to the criticism the series received at the time: "We may say now that 'Dyo Xenoi' is all time classic, but then it wasn't like that, we were getting a lot of 'beating' from journalists and people in the industry. They called us 'lightweight'."

Regarding her personal life, the actress spoke about loss, motherhood and marriage, emphasizing that she does not like security and does not want to belong anywhere.
