Giorgos Tsalikis: 'No one has invested in me in 30 years'

Giorgos Tsalikis, in an interview on OPEN's 'Kalokairino Rantevou' show, stated that despite his nearly 30-year career, no one has invested in him.
'For almost 30 years in this job, no one, neither businessmen, nor a company, nor a sponsor, has invested in me and told me to take a euro. Everything I have done, I have done with my faith in God, the help of the world, some people who were by my side and with my own work,' he said.
The singer also spoke about the importance of public recognition: 'The greatest honor the world has given me is that I am a good performer.'
He also referred to the show 'Don't Forget the Lyrics', for which he had expressed interest, but Elli Kokkinou was eventually chosen: 'I didn't have a proposal for 'Don't Forget the Lyrics', I called... I learned that Elli Kokkinou did a great audition and ANT1 wants to invest in a new female presence.'
