Grigoris Gountaras: 'Devoted' to Eleni Menegaki for 16 Years

Grigoris Gountaras spoke about his collaboration with Eleni Menegaki, calling it a 'jewel' and a 'milestone' in his career.

Speaking on the show 'Status', Grigoris Gountaras stated that everyone wanted to work with Eleni Menegaki. He recalled the 16 years he spent by her side, emphasizing that he was 'devoted' to her.

'I would describe the collaboration with Eleni Menegaki as a milestone, a jewel for my work. I think it was a collaboration that everyone would want because, over time, whatever they said, everyone wanted to work with Eleni Menegaki. There wasn't a person who didn't want it,' he said.

Referring to the decision to end their collaboration, Grigoris Gountaras confessed that it was emotionally difficult for him. 'After 16 years, there is no separation that is easy… Of course, it was difficult, but every obstacle is for the best,' he noted.

In conclusion, he emphasized that during their collaboration, he had not given interviews elsewhere, as he was completely dedicated to Eleni Menegaki.
