Twenty-two years after the airing of Mega's series 'Leni', Dimitra Doumeni, known for her role as 'Olia', is pursuing a successful career in classical singing.

In an interview on the show 'Kalimera Eipame?' with journalist Konstantinos Arkas, Dimitra Doumeni spoke about her relationship with Katia Dandoulaki, whom she considers her spiritual mother. She also discussed her experience with the success of the series at a young age.

'I am still very close to Katia. I call her Katia because I have known her since I was a baby. She advises me. She is a spiritual mother to me... What I remember from that time is a lot of joy, a lot of love,' said D. Doumeni.

The actress and singer mentioned that her mother protected her childhood and that she never had difficulty memorizing lines. After 'Leni', she also participated in other series, such as 'Vera sto Dexi' and '10i Entoli', while her collaboration with Marianna Toli led her to musical theater.

'After Leni, I also acted in 'Vera sto Dexi' and '10i Entoli'. What radically changed my life afterwards and made me want to get involved in musical theater was my collaboration with Mrs. Marianna Toli... Leni is a part of my life... Surprisingly, sometimes people recognize me and it seems very strange to me,' added D. Doumeni.
