Actress Sofia Seirli Drowns in Fournoi, Ikaria

Actress Sofia Seirli has passed away at the age of 77 after drowning on a beach in Fournoi, Ikaria. The news was confirmed by her friend and fellow actor, Nikos Chatzopoulos.

Sofia Seirli was born in Alexandria in 1947. She graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre and collaborated with well-known directors in Greece and Cyprus. She had participated in the MEGA TV series, "Mavro Rodo" (Black Rose).

In an interview, she mentioned that she almost started a family but did not regret it. She also revealed that she rejected a proposal from Michel Piccoli to live in Paris.
