Ioanna Pappa: Comments about my pregnancy at 42

Actress Ioanna Pappa spoke on the show "To 'choume" about her experience during her pregnancy and the comments she received on social media regarding her age.

"I gave birth and returned to work in 25 days. It helped me psychologically... We had talked to Aris Biniaris, who was directing the play... I had female colleagues who hadn't had a child yet calling me and telling me that I was giving them great strength with my decision to return to work. I had a positive response," the actress stated.

Referring to the comments she received, Ioanna Pappa stated: "There were comments about me giving birth at 42. It's not old age... It takes a lot of care how we speak and behave towards a woman during her pregnancy, but also after giving birth. I was scared to protect the child in my womb."
