The well-known Instagrammer Ioanna Touni publicly expressed her annoyance at the taxi strike in Thessaloniki. In a video posted on social media, Touni mentioned that she had to walk for half an hour in heels in the city center to get to a business meeting.

Touni stated she was annoyed by the inconvenience she suffered, as she was late for her appointment due to the strike. "Good morning, and my nerves are not very good from the morning, you know, because the taxis are on strike, and I got dressed up because I have an appointment with clothes designers and I'm walking around the city like this. Okay, the shoes are comfortable, but now I'm doing a half-hour walk. Nerves, nerves, nerves! What's going on with the strikes? I don't know," she characteristically stated.
