Katerina Laspa: "I mourned the family more than my father's loss"

Katerina Laspa spoke about the difficulty of her divorce from Nektarios Nikolopoulos in 2023, stating that she mourned the loss of her family more than the death of her father.

In an interview on the show "To Proino", Katerina Laspa explained that the idea of a united family was very important to her. She stated: "I think I mourned the 'family' part more than the loss of my dad. The formula in my mind was to manage to stay united."

The presenter admitted that her relationship with Nektarios Nikolopoulos had deteriorated before the divorce, but it took her time to accept it. She also mentioned that after the divorce, she sought help from a specialist to manage the situation with her children, especially with her teenage daughter.

"I could have handled it better towards the children if I had the strength or mental strength at that time... It took me a long time because I deeply mourned the sense of family," Katerina Laspa said.

Katerina Laspa emphasized that she tried not to feel that she had failed, despite the difficulties she faced.
