Katerina Papoutsaki: "I have been through a very difficult phase"

Katerina Papoutsaki spoke on the show "Savvatokiriako Parea" about the difficult times she experienced in the past due to intense publicity and being "hunted" by paparazzi. She referred to the period when she felt she was constantly being watched, even in personal moments.

"Is there anyone of your generation who has undergone this whole situation? I think you have, by far, had a hard time," said Katerina Karavatou.

The actress, who is a member of the judging panel of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" on ANT1, expressed her annoyance at the violation of her privacy. "It was very scary. Imagine opening the door and there are three or four people outside? It was terrible. And chases and various things," she stated.

Katerina Papoutsaki emphasized that people often misunderstood the situation, believing that she was causing the publicity herself, which was not the case. "The worst thing is that people then thought of me as someone... who has almost never been to Mykonos... I don't provoke publicity in any way. Quite the opposite. My vacations were in Donoussa, Gavdos, and such places," she said.
