Melpo Zarokosta Funeral: Emotion at the final farewell

The final farewell to Melpo Zarokosta took place in an emotional atmosphere at the First Cemetery of Athens.

Her son, Alexandros Pagoulatos, friends, and colleagues bid farewell to the actress on Tuesday, January 20. Melpo Zarokosta passed away on January 16 at the age of 93.

In recent years, she had been facing health problems and resided in a nursing home. Since the end of 2024, she had been living in the Athens Nursing Home due to dementia and increased care needs.

Among those present at the funeral were Alexandros Pagoulatos, Anna Fonsou, Giorgos Georgiou, and Spyros Bibilas.
