Koni Metaxa: Confessions About the 'Untalented' Label

Koni Metaxa, in an interview on Pantelis Toutountzis' show, spoke about the challenges she faced in her career and the comments she received.

The singer referred to her studies abroad, where she felt judged for her talent. "When I was at university and no one knew who I was, I was one of the best and I kept hearing 'bravo'," she stated.

Koni Metaxa admitted that in Greece she faced the 'label' of being untalented, due to her famous parents. "I felt I had to try ten times harder to prove that I was worth it," she explained, adding that she needed psychotherapy to overcome it.

Regarding negative comments, she said that they hurt her, but she faces them knowing that criticism is part of her job.
