Lakis Gavalas: "The most luxurious holidays were in prison"

Fashion designer Lakis Gavalas spoke about his experiences during his time in prison, stating that he spent his most "luxurious holidays" there. In an interview on "Happy Day", he described a New Year's Eve where he dressed as if he were going to a party, wearing sequins.

Lakis Gavalas emphasized that he did not lose his personal identity and lifestyle, even in prison. He also expressed his disappointment with people who betrayed him, stating that he cannot forgive them.

He also referred to the "spongers" in his company and the effort he made to develop the business, while expressing complaints about the fact that the new owners of his buildings do not contribute to the Greek economy.
