Lena Manta: I Faced Harsh Criticism and a War

Author Lena Manta spoke about the intense criticism she received in her early career, in an interview on the podcast "Unblock."

As she stated, in 2007 she faced a major "war" and intense criticism, with a newspaper publishing her photo with the caption "Lena Mapa."

Lena Manta also spoke about her husband, Giorgos, who passed away a year ago, emphasizing that he was her priority, without neglecting her children. She also mentioned that for years she declared "housewife" as her profession and reacted to anyone who underestimated her.

"For many years when they asked me my profession, I said housewife. If someone looked at me askance, I would bite them," she said characteristically.
