'He was the newest, the most unpretentious thing that came with a completely unique writing style,' Nikolakopoulou stated, emphasizing Savvopoulos' importance to her generation. She added that his songs were 'expensive,' made with the care of a goldsmith, and that he had a special perspective that broke stereotypes.
Nikolakopoulou also referred to Savvopoulos' character, describing him as tender, humorous, and an excellent listener. She noted his love for Thessaloniki, even though he did not often refer to it publicly.
