In statements on the show "Buongiorno", Lydia Fotopoulou mentioned that her granddaughter is now in good health and that the family overcame this difficult ordeal. The actress emphasized the importance of psychological support and courage for parents facing similar health problems in their children.

"My granddaughter went through a health problem, but she overcame it. It was a great ordeal, but she overcame it, she is very well," Lydia Fotopoulou stated.

The actress also emphasized her confidence in science and the importance of psychology in dealing with such situations. "When you learn something like that, you can't be calm. You just pull yourself together and go with the confidence that everything will be fine. And it went well. We faced the problem here in Greece."
