Marca Features Marigona: The Olympiacos Fan from Kosovo

Spanish newspaper Marca featured Marigona, a 25-year-old from Kosovo, who became known as an Olympiacos fan. Marigona attended an Olympiacos game against Villeurbanne and went viral, increasing her Instagram followers from 97 to 23,000 in a few hours.

Marca commented on her rapid rise in popularity through social media. Marigona stated that she did not expect her mere presence at a game to generate so much interest. Within a week, her followers exceeded 150,000 and now reach 293,000, and she has also gained 100,000 followers on TikTok.

Marigona was born in Kosovo and moved to Germany where she studied nursing. She has received offers to work as a model and in television programs in Greece, and has participated in basketball events, such as the Italian Cup and EuroBasket 2025 in Cyprus, supporting the Greek national team.

She is also in a relationship with a Greek businessman who is a passionate Olympiacos fan.
