Actress Marina Kalogirou has stated that she has received over 2,000 messages after confessing to sexual abuse she suffered at a young age.

In a recent post, Kalogirou mentioned that the messages are increasing rapidly and that she feels overwhelmed by the stories of other victims. The actress had revealed that she was sexually abused from the age of four to fourteen by two relatives and two family friends.

Kalogirou spoke publicly about the abuse for the first time on the show "Kalytera Arga," revealing details about her traumatic experiences.
