Marinella: Touching video from her last rehearsal at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus

A touching video from Marinella's last rehearsal for her concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in September 2024 has been released. The award-winning lighting designer, Eleftheria Deko, posted the video, showing Marinella performing "Με πνίγει τούτη η σιωπή" (I'm suffocating from this silence), a song she first sang in 1970, in front of the orchestra.

Eleftheria Deko's post stated: "No, no Marinella has not left... how can she leave? She is etched in our hearts"! She also added: "Our unique Marinella, this love does not end or leave... And from up there you will continue to sing for us, to awaken us from our lethargy, to remind us that life needs passion, love, mischief and courage!".

Tickets for the concert were sold out, with the public eagerly awaiting the appearance of the iconic artist.
