Mitsotakis: 'Marinella leaves Greece quieter but richer'

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his sadness for the death of Marinella in a post on social media.

'The voice of the Great Lady of Greek song has been silenced. And from now on, the memory of the unique Marinella passes to the lips of Greek women and men, who will always whisper her melodies,' the Prime Minister stated.

Mr. Mitsotakis noted that he grew up with Marinella's successes and admired her evolution and modest presence. 'Marinella leaves Greece quieter but richer,' he concluded.
