Justin Baldoni has responded to Blake Lively's claims that he leaked information from her deposition, calling them "unfounded." The actor's legal team argues that the leak could have originated from Lively herself or other individuals present at the July 31 deposition.

In a document filed on August 6, Baldoni's lawyers disputed Lively's claims, who had requested the deletion of documents from the case file. They also dismissed the claim that the identity of those present at the deposition was of particular importance.

A representative for Blake Lively stated on August 7 that they are pleased with the deposition's outcome and await the depositions of Baldoni and his co-defendants. Lively's side had referred to reports by TMZ and Daily Mail containing information from anonymous sources, arguing that Baldoni's legal team attempted to create a spectacle around her deposition.

The legal dispute began when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and defamation. Baldoni responded with a $400 million lawsuit, which was dismissed. The trial is set for March 2026.
