Brigitte Bardot: Vacation in Greece in 1969

Brigitte Bardot visited Greece in August 1969, accompanied by her partner, Patrick Gilles, and friends. The actress, then separated from Gunter Sachs, arrived in Athens on an Air France flight.
According to a report in the newspaper "Empros," Bardot took a mini-cruise to the islands of the Argo-Saronic Gulf and was impressed by the beauties of Greece. During her stay, she resided at the "Asteras" in Vouliagmeni, enjoyed the sun and sea, tasted Greek cuisine, and walked barefoot in Plaka.
According to the report, Bardot expressed her surprise when she received the hotel bill, as it was the first time she had been asked to pay for her accommodation. At that time, she had completed filming the movie "Les Femmes" and was separated from Gunter Sachs, whom she divorced in October 1969.
