Nikos Syrigos: Strong Reaction to Karystianou's Statements on Abortion

Nikos Syrigos commented on Maria Karystianou's statements regarding abortion during the show "Hamogela kai Pali" on 24/1. The journalist expressed his strong disagreement with Karystianou's view, but also the belief that the criticism she received was excessive.

"What Maria Karystianou said was like being kicked in the face. It was deeply painful what I heard... What she said was resolved in my mind even before 1986. Every girl has the right to do what she wants with her body," Nikos Syrigos characteristically stated.

He continued, stressing that the cannibalism Karystianou suffered is excessive and hypocritical, especially from the government and ministers.
