M. Night Shyamalan to Direct 'Magic 8 Ball' Series

M. Night Shyamalan is set to direct a new series inspired by Mattel's popular toy, the 'Magic 8 Ball'. According to a Mattel announcement, the series will be a supernatural drama.

Shyamalan will collaborate with Brad Falchuk (known for 'Glee' and 'American Horror Story'), who will serve as the screenwriter. Both will also act as showrunners.

Shyamalan confirmed the collaboration via Instagram, posting a photo of the script. The 'Magic 8 Ball' has remained popular for 75 years, with annual sales exceeding one million toys worldwide.
