Sais Explores Existential Crises in His New EP

Singer-songwriter Sais has released his new EP, delving into personal and existential explorations. This project marks Sais's fourth personal work and his third in the Cypriot dialect.
In an interview, Sais mentioned that the songs emerged from a dark period and his need to understand himself. He also believes that these existential crises can help people redefine the essence of life, especially in modern times.
The album is divided into two parts: the first three songs are more internal and personal, while the rest examine the artist's relationship with the world around him. Sais emphasizes that the songs are experiential and reflect his concerns.
Musically, Sais experiments with various styles, incorporating elements of rock, electronic, and traditional music. He mentions that the first three songs have a harder sound, influenced by his rock influences.
Sais reveals that he tests his new songs live before releasing them, allowing interaction with the audience to shape their final form. The song "υπαρξιακά" (existential) is particularly demanding for him, while "ο φόος" (the fear) is deeply personal and connected to childhood memories.
Sais wishes to present a different image of Cyprus through his music, a world full of love and brotherhood, in contrast to the world of hatred that is often projected.
