John Cena loves spanakopita: "It reminds me of Santorini"

Actor and former wrestler John Cena revealed that spanakopita is his favorite Greek food. The revelation was made in an interview with "Bon Appetit" magazine, where he explained how food is connected to memories and feelings.

Cena associated spanakopita with his honeymoon trip to Santorini with his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh. He tasted various versions of the dish, from taverns to fine dining restaurants.

"Spanakopita is not just food. It's memory, it's emotion," John Cena stated.

John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh met in 2019 and married in 2020. They renewed their vows in 2022 in Canada.
