Richard Gere: Wife shows the garden of their new home in Madrid

Alejandra Silva, Richard Gere's wife, has published photos of the garden of their new home in Madrid, seven months after their move from the United States to Spain in late 2024.

The 75-year-old actor's decision to move to Spain is linked to his desire to bring his wife closer to her homeland, as well as his disappointment with Donald Trump, whom he had called a "bully" and a "villain".

Alejandra Silva shared snapshots on Instagram of their garden, which is undergoing renovation. The video shows plants and flowers ready for planting.

The couple had sold their mansion in Connecticut for $10.75 million. Richard Gere had mentioned his decision to settle in Spain on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon in November 2024, emphasizing that his wife is Spanish and gave him seven years of life in the USA.

He also pointed out that their children will have excellent opportunities to grow up in such an environment, speaking fluent English and Spanish.
