Celine Dion: Ten Years Since René Angélil's Death

Celine Dion commemorated her husband, René Angélil, ten years after his death. Angélil, who passed away at the age of 73 after battling cancer, had been Dion's manager since she was 12 years old and later became her husband.

Dion shared a touching post on social media along with their three sons, René-Charles, Eddy, and Nelson, who co-signed the message. "We love you more and more, every day and every year," Dion wrote.

René Angélil was born in Montreal and had a long career in the entertainment industry. Before becoming Celine Dion's manager, he managed Ginette Reno.

Celine Dion announced in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS) and made a dynamic return at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
