Sofia Karvela celebrated 17 years of sobriety from substances and alcohol, sending a message of hope and love via Instagram.

In her post, the well-known brand stylist shared her thoughts, stating: 'I still feel uncomfortable in my skin and mind, but it's wonderful to know myself, to be present and alive today. Sending love.'

Karvela also referred to her past and her decision to seek help 17 years ago, emphasizing that life on the 'other side' is brighter, no matter how dark she becomes.

'17 years sober today... I think today of all those who are still suffering... it was absolutely worth it to leave behind the weaknesses that no longer serve me,' she wrote.
