Sofia Vogiatzaki: Confesses about depression after loss

Actress Sofia Vogiatzaki spoke about the difficulties she faced after the loss of her parents, in an interview with the newspaper On Time.

She referred to the loss of her father and mother, emphasizing that she was working in the theater during both deaths. As she said, the theater acted as a liberating and psychotherapeutic experience for her.

Speaking about her mother, who passed away five and a half years ago, she admitted that she experienced depression and may still be experiencing it. She recounted that at the time of the loss, she was filming in Cyprus and did not have time to go through all the stages of grief. She pointed out that nothing is the same anymore.

She expressed the belief that only the mother is truly irreplaceable when it comes to a good mother.
