Sotiris Chatzakis: 'I was against marriage, but...'

Director Sotiris Chatzakis spoke about his marriage to Polyxeni Milona, revealing that he was initially against the idea of marriage.

In an interview on the show 'Breakfast@Star', Sotiris Chatzakis stated: 'I was against marriage. Polyxeni and I loved each other very much, and at some point, I said, "But this woman loves me so much." Since she has loved me so much, taken care of me so much... why shouldn't I give her this joy?'

Sotiris Chatzakis and Polyxeni Milona were married in a civil ceremony at Athens City Hall on October 2, 2025, after fifteen years of relationship. Photos from the wedding were presented on the Buongiorno show.
