Tears at Marinella's Funeral in Athens

A large crowd gathered at the Athens Metropolitan Cathedral to bid farewell to the leading singer Marinella. The funeral service was held in the presence of Prime Minister Konstantinos Mitsotakis and personalities from the artistic, political, and social spheres.

From early in the morning, Marinella's body was laid in state for public viewing. Haris Alexiou and Giorgos Dalaras delivered eulogies.

Among those present at the funeral were: Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Lina Mendoni, Vasso Kazantzidi, Eleonora Zouganeli, Nikos Syrigos, Takis Zaharatos, and many others.

Marinella's sister, Loula Grigoriadi, arrived devastated and supported, at the Metropolitan Cathedral.
