Thanos Tokakis: The Horn Award and Vanity

Actor Thanos Tokakis spoke about the influence of receiving the Horn Award. In an interview on the show "POP Mageiriki" on SKAI, the actor mentioned that the distinction boosted his ambitions and his vanity, but without having negative effects.

"My expectations for myself were different then, and the way I received an award was different. [...] It was a great joy. It fueled my ambitions then and my vanity quite a bit, I can say. And I can only say that it worked positively. It had no negative effects," he characteristically stated.

Asked if his colleagues' attitude changed after the award, Thanos Tokakis replied: "It's a practical profession. You practically show what your job is, anyway."

In closing, the actor emphasized that he is particularly pleased to be given an award. "Awards are nice. I like them. I try to give them the space they deserve," he said.
