Tragedy in Greece: Actress Sofia Seirli Drowns

Grief has struck Greece following the death of actress Sofia Seirli, who drowned at the age of 77 while swimming in Fournoi, Ikaria. The tragic incident occurred while the actress was vacationing with a friend.
According to reports, Sofia Seirli attempted to swim in deep waters but was unable to return to shore. Actor and director Nikos Chatzopoulos confirmed the news in a Facebook post.
Sofia Seirli was born in Alexandria in 1947 and graduated from the National Theatre Drama School in 1975. She collaborated with numerous theater companies in Greece and Cyprus and participated in popular television series such as 'Agries Melisses' (Wild Bees) and 'Mavro Rodo' (Black Rose).
