ANT1 Mourns: Farewell to Giorgos Papadakis

With deep sorrow, the ANT1 media group bid farewell to Giorgos Papadakis, who passed away on Sunday, January 4th, at the age of 74, due to a heart attack.

Giorgos Papadakis collaborated with ANT1 for 34 years, starting in 1991, and is considered a founder of morning news broadcasting on Greek television.

In a statement, ANT1 called him a "point of reference" and emphasized that he "sealed morning news broadcasting and defined the way Greek television 'communicates' with citizens."
