The political and artistic world mourns the passing of Marinella, who died at the age of 87. The great performer left an indelible mark on the history of Greek song.

Marinella passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, after complications from a stroke she suffered on stage at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in September 2024. Her family announced her passing.
