TV Highlights: Movies and Series (September 1-5)

This week (September 1-5), television offers a variety of options, from sci-fi and thrillers to romantic comedies and musicals. A highlight is the movie Mamma Mia! airing on SKAI on Thursday, September 4th at 21:00.

The film follows Donna, an independent mother who runs a small hotel on a Greek island. Her daughter, Sophie, about to get married, invites three men from her mother's past in an attempt to discover who her father is. The film stars: Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth.

Also, the new ERT series, 'The Great Chimera', premieres. ERT's series for the new season start on September 15th.
