Panagiotis Tsakalakos disagreed with Petros Gaitanos' statements regarding Eurovision, which he described as "a colorful circus with demonic elements." Tsakalakos, who participated in the first semi-final of the show "Sing for Greece," argued that Eurovision has the power to bring different countries together through music.

Commenting on the show "Super Katerina," Tsakalakos stated: "Anything that gives artists from different countries the opportunity to come together and share their music, I don't consider it a circus... To associate it with something demonic, no, I strongly disagree."

Referring to Akylas' song "Ferto," Tsakalakos expressed his belief that it would win in the Greek final. Despite the technical problems he faced in the semi-final, he took responsibility for his part.
